Daily Flavonoid Complex |
Research suggests that diets with high levels of flavonoids, one of the natural sources of the brighter colors in many fruits and vegetables, may offer several health benefits including cardiovascular health and healthy immune function. Antioxidant flavonoids work with vitamin C to reduce oxidative stress for the water-based portion of the cell and may slow down some of the effects of aging. Although a few bioflavonoids have become relatively well known, there are over 4,000 unique flavonoids, and it appears they may be most effective when several types are consumed together. Only 9% of Americans eat a minimum level of the fruits and vegetables in their daily diet that would provide the flavonoids they need. |
